Swampmusic IV is Sept 15th at Logan's Pub in Victoria BC Canada. A fund raiser for the Ascoderu non-profit which provides economical communications for those in need. Scheduled to headline the show is the "The Southern Island Revival Collective" aka The Revival !

Also featuring by Dylan Stone Band, Blake Andison and the Solution, Swampmusic Players, the Other Pumpkin and friends !

This is pretty interesting to have a small show in a very cool venue. Tim has welcomed the Swamp Music Players as well as Grid Charger and "Cassie..." into the Merlin's SUn Home Theatre for a fundraiser for the Ascoderu non-profit.

Do you remember "Mountain Tops and Water Drops" a Neo-Folk show at Solstice Cafe in Victoria BC Canada? It was a full house and featured Special guest star "Blake Andison" and Master of Ceremonies Jon Dowdall.

There was Greg Wolfe part singer song writer and part performance artist and there was the amazing "Cassie..." also known as Cassandra Fenske.
There was the debut of Rowan Hynds, the return of the jazz group "East & West" and there was "Grid Charger"

The night ended with the two house bands from "Swamp Music" that made a special appearance; "The Swamp Music Players" and the return of "Déjà-Drew & His Déjà-Crew".

It was a tremendous show for Solstice with a full house and an attentive crowd, we could not have hoped for better. If you enjoyed the show let us know and be sure to follow the various artists in the future !

Hilary Beckett is a growing concern in the Vancouver Island music scene being involved in the top quality Victoria classic rock/fusion bands "Rainshadow" and "Dayinthelife". Known for her heartfelt renditions of soul,RNB and classic rock anthems as a vocalist she is also a more then competent guitar player. Recently she has got attention of "SNAP Magazine" and gaining more press.


Rainshadow  best known as the islands best Afro/Latin rock band is actually much more diverse and plays original and covers of RNB,Soul, Classic rock and even attempts progressive rock. I was lucky enough to catch a Rainshadow gig where they attempted Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb" for the first time and just winged it!

Comfortably Numb, Pink Floyd cover by Rainshadow, lead guitar by the incendiary Rainshadow Al, Vocals by the lovely Hilary Beckett, keyboard by the dapper Paul Wainwright, drums by Malcolm "cool as ice" Cooley and the rock steady Steve Duben on bass guitar. Rainshadow is a perfect example of the rich musical talent in Victoria and Vancouver Island.

One of the best bands in Victoria and one of the best kept secrets in British Columbia. I've been making some promotional videos for them and increading their prescenes on Youtube and Myspace.
Right now there really isn't a website for them but I will put something together , they often play at Bart's at 8:30 pm and sometimes Swans and Logans on other nights , so keep an eye out for them !

Hello folks sorry for the lack of updates I was working in telecommunications as well as a trip to deepest farthest Siberia this year. One project my artist had health problems and another I am behind scedule so there will have to be alot of catch up in 2009 !

I have a new artist for one of my projects so I hope to get the Novella done by summer of 2009 and get something together !

So for now let me introduce you to Snezana Radulovic of Zhana d` Arte she is a talented artist known for her surreal paintings and childrens illustraions. She also is a member of the popular artists social networking site known as Deviant Art so if you are a member of this site you may wish to add her to your Deviant Art  account.



Snezana also known as Zhana has a blog where you can see some of the latest works as well as news on events or her latest musings. The inmitable Snezana Radulovic is a painter and freelancer in graphic design. She has also donated designs to the African charity REMCU as well as illustrations for a series of childrens books. I think you will find this young European artist of interest ;someone who has a passion for original art. A painter with a true vision as well as a sense of tender humanity. The Beast Is Back From The East

I'm back and recharged from my trip to Siberia and was reunited with one of my best friends I had not seen in many years. I also made a couple of new friends and keeping in contact with them. There were plenty of adventures from a trip to a dangerous "Northern Town" where I saw a parking lot flight club. Saving my friends daughter from falling from a ski lift , or meeting a model in Moscow there was plenty of goodness to my journey. Even BBQ sturgeon at a dacha party in the woods ,with wolves howling as I ate endangered species. It was a wonderful journey. Nothing like driving at 180 kph on a Siberian highway that looks more like "Old West Saanich" road and almost going airborne to avoid a jackrabbit ! Getting interviewed by a Siberian news crew and local tv personality well that was pretty cool.

I got to rest up in Vancouver a few days with one of my oldest friends who let me crash...but on my return to Canada of course I got ill and it took a long time to recover I'm sorry to say. I'm now out and about on the island. See you at the Ukie dinners !

Sorry to say it looks like Stygian Fathoms in Graphic Novel form will not be completed soon , it will be finished in story format and may be adapted in the future.

Currently working on the Novella "Command Detonated Mind" with artist Snezana doing the cover art and illustrations !

Well it seems the artist will be resting for medical reasons until after the summer of 08 , so the writing will be completed for the demo edition.

Until then I will be working on a Novella and we will see how the other project goes after the summer.

Hello minions , the rough plot and storyboard outline has been roughed out for the pilot issue ,more writing and storyboarding will now follow and needs to be jazzed up. The characters are complete and basic story arc has been worked on. The artist is currently MIA but likely hear from after New Years.I'm gong to continue to work on it so its all ready to launch when everyone is back online ! 

Characters have been developed and the first story outline has been developed , soon will be some dialogue work and sooner or later the artist will be working on some rough test sketches in the following weeks for each of characters and a few of the settings , then its off for storyboarding ;)

The graphic novel is currently in the early stages of development with 2 issues going through writing and an artist is currently being conscripted.Will update on how that goes in the following weeks.

Also a novella is currently in the works but is currently behind schedule so it will be be rescheduled for completion.
